I've figured out a pretty good solution for using filters with the B300. The problem with normal filters is that almost any filter will cause some vignetting when placed between the lens and the camera. But since the B300 doesn't have threads for filters, you don't have much choice.
So I was looking at Cokin's P filter system and they have a thread-less mounting ring that fits around the outside of a lens and is affixed with three set screws. Since I was getting some Cokin stuff anyway, I grabbed that as well.
It works! Quite nicely, in fact, and without vignetting. Even better, the Cokin P holder will hold one glass (e.g. circ. pol.) and three resin filters (almost all their filters are resin) at once.
