So you prefer steak to sushi? Oh, glad you like the photo by the way! Thanks! I make a mean steak sushi. Yumyumyum (said as rubbing belly) Seer a tenderloin real hot and fast, I mean real hot cause it cooks only for seconds. Best done outside and with a cast iron pan as I almost get this sucker red hot. Slice into strips so it is all pink inside with only a thin gray/brown fringe. Mix up some sweet sushi rice and top with my magic ginger orange sauce. It's to die for. Best served while the rice is still warm with some Saki at body temp. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Actually, I like both, although I think sushi is the healthier of the two. I like the picture and I like both sushi and steak. None of these two are really healty food though. Steak gives you bad colesterol while shushi gives you colon cancer. I've climbed it 10 times and the only stairs I saw were maybe 20 or so at the very beginning of the ascent. And the trash situation has vastly improved, although it's still somewhat of a problem. Sushi sucks? Well, each has a right to his or her opinion. ![]() Yep, 1969 with a group of teens from our "Teen Club" just outside Tokyo. A group of teens with parents/fathers in the military. I wouldn't have climbed it, NOPE! But there were stairs all the way to the top, with rest stations every half hour or so of walking. On the way down, most of us slept at the rest stations. You'd rent a mat and blanket for something like $1.50 US. A lot of fun and a memory for a lifetime. Here are just a couple of links (the first two) I got when I Googled it. Gear List

Jan 24, 2007 00:41 | #22 Well, I've never taken the trail on the back side of the mountain, so I can't be sure, but it seems like it's a combination of sandy trail, rocks, roads, steps and wooden logs, not one giant staircase to the top. joegolf68 wrote in post #2590215 Yep, 1969 with a group of teens from our "Teen Club" just outside Tokyo. Here are just a couple of links (the first two) I got when I Googled it. They are not typical "stairs" but more like a path with logs at certain points of the path used as stairs and for erosion, I would assume. Maybe it was my use of the term "stairs" which was the issue, as I said, they are stairs, but not like actual stairs.http://www.city.fujiyoshida.yamanashi.jp …shidaguchi_Frameset-7.htm http://www.yamasa.org …ations/shizuoka/fuji.html Craig
