I noticed that taking pictures of a dog that is running is far from easy. Is it all about practice, or does anyone have a few good tips for me? Here are two shots from this Saturday. C&C is welcome

I think they are great! Irish Terrier - what a cutie! I love terriers - we have a Welsh Terrier.

My only advice would be AI Servo, but you've got great pics whether you used this AF mode or not!

Thanks for all the kind comments It's my parents dog, and yep she's an Irish Terrier

I was using AI Servo and tried to use the center focus point. The hard part is keeping the dot on her head as she's running. Too many times I miss focus with just a little, so that the pic looks a bit soft. I guess I just have to practice more The funny thing is (oh, and her name is Funny) that she hates to be photographed inside, but outside it works kind of ok
