I noticed that taking pictures of a dog that is running is far from easy. Is it all about practice, or does anyone have a few good tips for me? Here are two shots from this Saturday. C&C is welcome ;)

I think they are great! Irish Terrier - what a cutie! I love terriers - we have a Welsh Terrier.

My only advice would be AI Servo, but you've got great pics whether you used this AF mode or not!

Thanks for all the kind comments :) It's my parents dog, and yep she's an Irish Terrier :)

I was using AI Servo and tried to use the center focus point. The hard part is keeping the dot on her head as she's running. Too many times I miss focus with just a little, so that the pic looks a bit soft. I guess I just have to practice more :) The funny thing is (oh, and her name is Funny) that she hates to be photographed inside, but outside it works kind of ok :)
