[QUOTE=Curtis N;2580693]You'll soon become bored with ongoing discussions, arguments and debates on the merits of various flash units, diffusers and studio lights.

Come on Curtis......you know it's just like the problem with milk cows,.......they just won't stay milked.

Hey, what are you trying to say here? Are you alleging that we engage in nothing but banter in the other forums?

I'm highly insulted.

I'll tell you, I spend more time getting educated in the lighting forum then I do posting blabber on the Lens or Camera forum. Just more reading and less posting, you might (or might not) notice the same happening to yourself.

Have fun! and remember... Profoto is the Hasselblad, Norman is the Canon, eBay-Special is Nikon.

Same here. That was my point in an earlier post. I find the reading in the lighting forum more educational, so I spend time here. When I want to chat about lenses and camera gizmos, sure I go to the other forums. I just find there to be a slightly different 'vibe' in the lighting forum.

Do say! That sounds like my cup of tea, old chap.

I bombarded the lens forum enough with my usual senseless banter. Time to retreat to the relative safety among my flash and lighting friends. Those lens guys suck!

Count me in here also. Actually been reading here for a few weeks now trying to learn a bit before I make a purchase. So far leaning toward the AB800 kit.
