Are these any good, does anyone have knowledge or experience of it.

It looks like a cheap Manfrotto knock-off (poor copy) to me. I wouldn't buy something that doesn't even have an advertised manufacturer, though. I want to know where to get replacement parts, etc., for my equipment.

I suspect the "fully extended" height is with the center column extended - not something one should normally do.

The "large ball tripod head" looks similar to the smallest ball head that Manfrotto makes for the full-sized tripods. The Manfrotto unit can't hang on to much weight off-center, so I doubt this one would either.

those were my thoughts skip, just kinda hoped someone would tell me it was in the league of the Dynatran, which i'm loathed to get due to crazy delivery price to UK and appaling after sales care. just gunna have to put my hand in my pocket and buy the manfrotto i know and trust!
