So after some meetings I had the chance to pop off a few shots. Man what I would give to have a shop like this.

That place is WAY too clean and not a Pirelli calendar in sight. The standards in motorsport today, I don't know

So let me ask you all this, do the team over in Europe have open access to their shops for public viewing?

This is just one of the two Cup car workshops. In addition to this there is the Busch car workshop, engine shop, body parts shop, r&d shop, 2 warehouses, a pit crew training area, a museum, plus a bunch of other admin areas.

My father used to have a shop like that. Except it wasn't as clean. Or as big, or have as many tools. Or have such fast cars. Or...

...ok so it wasn't really a shop like that... :)

Cool shot. Rick is a client and friend of mine. You will not meet a nicer man.

I am not a big fan of NASCAR style racing, but I must admit I was very impressed with Hendrik's operation. I have visited some of the other shops, none of them match the level of professionalism you feel at this facility. It also gives you a sense of just how much money it takes to compete in this series. I know F1 gets knocked because it the expense of that series, but NASCAR seems to be doing it's best to close that gap. It's neither a right or wrong thing... it is just what it is. Cheers.

That place looks pristine !

Just like the jet engine overhaul bay I used to work in. I'm not a big fan of NASCAR either, it's a bit dull, but it looks like a very professional setup.

So where do they take away the ability to turn right ? :-)

Gary.

I'd like to get a closer look at the prints on the wall. They look nice for the size.

Very nice photos. Not a fan of any of the Hendrick's drivers, but I am impressed with the quality of operation they seem to run. Appears to be very tight-knit racing family...perhaps especially after the tragedy 1 1/2 years ago.
