The 5D is ending the end of its 18 month life cycle, so I don't see Canon dropping the price much lower than what it already is. Looks like $500 is about the amount that they drop. 1DMkIIN was selling for $3999 at B&H and its roughly selling for $3500 now ($500 drop). 5D was selling for $3200 when it was first introduced, and selling at $2700 currently (again a $500 drop). I think by 2010 you will have the possibility of a FF camera dropping below $2000. David (aka BigBlueDodge)
