Hi all.. i'm very new to photography and would appreciate your help in recommending me a good and cheap tripod. 
i'm using a canon powershot A640.
i've tried mounting my camera onto a PPCP: Pro Tripod V2 and i love it. however, i'm looking at a tripod that is lighter and less costly.
understand there is a slik sprint pro which is quite good. but i'm looking for a tripod which has a maximum height of about 1.6m.
any recommendations? thanks alot for your help!
