i like it, gives it a real dramatic feel. what filter was that using, looks like a gradient orange/red filter


Canon EOS 400d, 18-55mm, 90-300mm, speedlight 220ex, numerous screw on filters, and a cokin p-series filter kit.
Photoshop CS2.

I like the color, but I think you should have gotten some of the color in the water as it looks more like 2 seperate images to me.

I love the colour in the sky, but it looks odd against the dull foreground. A shot of mainly the sky would have worked much better.

First thought.. LOVE it!

After reading comments.. I agree with the above, even if it's a slight bit in the reflection :)

I would say move the gradient up to the horizon and keep the water grey white and the sky orange, better balance and separation.

Thats whats troubling me, I would of preferred more red in the sea and on the rocks.

Still it gives me an excuse to go to the coast again ;)
