Hi. I was wondering if anyone in Canada (or otherwise) knows where to get a 3rd party grip for the XT/XTi in Canada? I am even having trouble just finding Canon's BG-E3 grip. All I have found is the Rebel Accessory Kit which is $299.99CAD and includes the grip, a 52mm UV filter, battery, and accessory bag.

The grip I am most interested in is Optekas. Any help would be appreciated!

For the Opteka's I think you're stuck buying from 47th st. Photo in the US, either from their online store or their eBay auctions. To my knowledge they aren't sold anywhere else.

I know Don's Photo in Calgary had the kit you speak of on for $299.00 or $249.00 if you bought the camera from them. The Camera Store out there also had the BG-E3 grip in stock. I was lucky enough to find the kit in Halifax on the East Coast for $249.00 everyday price...!

It's $160 at The Camera Store in Calgary. My daughter is moving to a new job in Calgary on January 30. I think will be visiting the Camera Store........I mean "my daughter" more often.
