Ok I have searched and searched and read the sticky...I just pulled the trigger on a 30D and would like to buy batteries for it. Are the ones Sterlingtek now OK to use without modifying them? If yes, I will purchase them. Sorry if this is a repost...been searching for an hour.

Got 2 for my 10D I've been using for a year now....no problems here!
Get their portable plug in wall charger too while your at it!
It works great and easily fits in your bag.

Always buy 2 if you need them. I bought 4 and all work great and last longer than the Canon ones. Go for it!
