Made this image today at Horicon National Wildlife Refuge. Sat there for almost a hour. What a cool experience!

A fine looking Owl and a very cool perch. This is so much nicer than when they are on hydro or telephone post. Is this a full frame shot with the 600 and where is Horicon Wildlife Refuge?

Hi Gary,

Yes, this is full frame from the 20D. I was shooting first with my 5D but needed more reach so I switched bodies.

Horicon NWR is in central Wisconsin. Northwest of Milwaukee and Northeast of Madison.
