Cormorant, shag, eider and blackbird

Great series, not a big fan of cormorants but I love pic#2 and #4. The catchlights are nice and the eye is sharp.

These are really great shots in every aspect. I don't have favorites, they all are excellent.

As I suggest elsewhere, I did nothing for the eider - I pointed and shot (spot metering on the white, 0EV), and the camera did the hard work.

A bit of tweaking of the RAW, and there you go.
