Great series, not a big fan of cormorants but I love pic#2 and #4. :) The catchlights are nice and the eye is sharp.

You've done an awesome job cpaturing these birds. Love the cormorant image. The eider would create a nightmare for me to meter but you nailed the exposure.

As I suggest elsewhere, I did nothing for the eider - I pointed and shot (spot metering on the white, 0EV), and the camera did the hard work.

A bit of tweaking of the RAW, and there you go.

Sharp, brilliant shots. I love the cormorant and shag. Excellent detail. The others are very nice as well, great exp. on the Eider.
