Here's a pic i took of one of my friends last year, just got around to touching up this shot last week(it wasn't really a keeper, but i didn't wanna delete it) and now it's won a Daily Deviation at Deviantart.com :D
lemme know what you think, btw, i shot the pic with my... Nikon! :)

Sometimes I use Nikkors on my 20D. They haven't kicked me out yet! :D

for PP, i started with a plugin called LucisArt for PS CS3, to bring out some of the detail in the shot, after that, i can't remember exactly what i did, i know it involved lots of adjustment layers(with different blending modes) though, to heavily boost the contrast and the satuation a bit as well, and the shadow/highlight tool was used as well. I wish i could tell you what exactly i did, but i can't even remember myself! every pic is usually something different with me.

thanks guys :)
i've been reading a bunch of tutorials lately and just playing around in photoshop quite a bit, so i decided to take another crack at this shot. My first try just after the shot was taken wasn't all that successful. practice pays off i guess :)
