Do you guys think this will work for an car rig? Sticking it to the car for automotive shots.

Im not sure Id want to hang a 5D or a 1D off those things. I think it was made more for stability on a flat surface. I could see it very handy in windy situations. Or maybe for exposure bracketing

sweet, I found that out of no where when I was searching for the short colum for my tripod.

I just ordered this for my macro work and shots that I want to take closer to the ground.

I figure by having two colums it would make it a lot eaiser/faster to switch heads on the fly.

I am thinking of putting a pano head on the short stack. like the Nodal Ninja.
