I gave as christmas gifts to my co-workers calendars with photographs I had taken in Africa and Alaska.

Today one of my friends reported their calendar had been stolen overnight

There are many more offices and many different calendars on the floor where I work. They were untouched. I'm not sure what to think. . .

Oh man that is really crappy. What an emotion roller coaster... you feel good about the images being really good, apparently, and bad about someone taking a gift.

I can relate.

Hopefully your friend is able to get the calendar back.

Take it as a compliment, next time maybe you should give out two calendars.. One good one and one of photos nobody would want. Of course, as luck would have it, perhaps the 'bad' one will be viewed as a highly artistic piece of work and stolen as well.

It may not be a compliment... May be your friend "misplaced" it in the recycle bin  I kid, I kid!

Now you can go back to work. I'll just sit here and enjoy the new calendar I just bought myself. It has some very nice Alaskan and African pictures in it!

I had an extra, so my friend won't be out. Still, it was an odd thing to have happen.

Happens to us all the time. We just print another calendar.

Often, the "thief" is a spouse who wants the calendar at home or for his/her office.
