These shots were taken from the ferry that connects a number of B&B’s & restaurants to the City of Lagano along the north side of the lake. We thought we were just going on a boat ride. Wish we would have known about the water-front restaurants. I would have been wonderful to have watched the sun go down from one of them.

What is that long yellow thing going down to the water in your second shot?

It looks like they are remodeling. It is probably a plastic shaft used to drop debris down to a boat or barge. Similar technique is used for remodeling in multi-story buildings in cities where water is not an issue. I liked the color it added.

People living here have a lot of steps to deal with - I don't know how they do it every day. I guess it's how they keep in shape!
