Coots (with fish)

I took these two photos of an Eurasion Coot at my local Botanical Gardens. Taken with 70-200mm f/4

They seemed to have lost the detail in their eyes when I reduced the size so I have posted a link to a larger size as well.

1. Notice the size of the fish (species unknown)! They were huge!

Those are HUGE fish! I'm worried for the coot.

The angle for these two shots are a little too steep. Normally when shooting this type of bird swimming, lower your camera as close to the subject's level as possible.

That fish is a Carp, and they get to grow much more than that. Good thing they are herbivores. Nice capture.
