one bare flash at full power either side. was full daylight. a brolly would have eaten the light
i then took the levels down even more upped the contrast and painted a mask on the bride...

If you are THAT good in Photoshop... I bow to the master!

Ha ha - I had to laugh so hard I fell off the chair - I am hardly the master of anything let alone photography or even photoshop :D

As my sig says I am just a newbie, so I hardly know what I am talking about sometimes :) My sceptism arose bcos I found it hard to beleive the guy nailed the photograph so well - mind you that this has to be just a "one shot" oppurtunity so I was trying to justify that it was photoshopped than nailing it with just one frame (or several frames with continuous). But like you said ... the simple solution ..... :)

In addition to your comments, I think SoccerRef put some good points across (the shoes, positions, faces, etc). I went back to the picture and analysed it again and noticed something else important - the reflection on the pool !!! I think that would have been pretty difficult to photoshop as well.

So all things considered, I bow to the ACTUAL masters and retract my comments :) and admit that it has to be a REAL pic than a photoshopped one. Having said that, if the poster came back to say that it WAS photoshopped, I wouldnt be too suprised.

Fantastic shot - no wonder its got him a lot of business

Hahaha, at very least it was bugging me that if somebody was going to go to the trouble of photoshopping several people around that they'd also "pick up the clutter" to clean up the image a bit.

Great pic Harri!! Try PSing the lights out from the top right, I think that'll add more focus to the composition.

Here's my one image that has the most "WOW" factor. It's gotten me business.....

I don't see how it could not have been photoshoped. Maybe it's just the newbie in me. They are the same people, at least the guy is.

The front two are not. Maybe brothers. It's not entirely impossible for twins to both be in a wedding, and wearing the same thing... Besides what would he have 5 dry tuxes lined up? By the time you got one dry the lighting would be too different for it to work...
