I have been looking now for a while, and i am wondering if there is such think as a dedicated SLR pouch or small bag. I am looking for something small and light weight to put my camera in when i go on small hikes/walks. I would be putting this in my regular backpack.

I don't want a dedicated backpack at this point as i am just begining and love me regular daypack that i use.

Basically something to cover the camera from nicks scratches and dirt when i put it in my sling bag or backpack - i don't need any foam padding or anything.

Thanks.

check this out. I got this way back for my old film body with grip and 28-200 lens. It comes in different sizes. I used this during short trips with only one setup and just throw it inside any bag/backpack. It's made of neoprene so it gets protection from scratches and slight bumps. They also have puches for lenses. I rarely use it nowadays (longer trips) coz i have cam bags that satisfies my needs.

Thanks for the reply!

I did see those, not exactly what i was looking for. I guess i am wanting just a basic loose bag that is quick to get the camera in and out of, i mean i could use any old fleece square pouch if i needed to, just wanted to know if there was something out there i was missing as my small camera bag for the XTI is too big to put in my small daypack.
