Have you seen this: Microsoft Photo Info Tool (external link)

I haven't tried it out yet, but at first sight it looks like it might be useful. It also supports Nikon and Canon RAW files (NEF, CRW,CR2).

The paper I freelance for sent me a link to it. Apparently a couple of the staff guys tested it this week and were pretty impressed.

Would take a small miracle or act of god to make me stop using photomechanic though!!

Does look good though - might give it a little test at some point.
