I can't really spend too much on quality filters, so I bought a Fotodiox circular polarizer off ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com …em=220069973787&rd=1&rd=1
). When I got it, I noticed that turning it occasionally casts a red tint and turning it some more will cast a green tint. It's a light color change, but I was wondering if this is normal for circular polarizers.
Perhaps I'm just new to it, but I didn't see that much of a difference in images when I turned the filter against a blue sky with clouds (other than the red-green color changes). But when I point it to reflective glass or water, I do notice the ability to change how much I can see through.
