And last... this thread is now 120 pages... whew! Has anyone thought about (aka, be willing to) creating a more efficient way to schedule/view potential outings, meet-n-greets, workshops, etc?

Happy Ho-Ho!

ATL Shutterbugs just have some 'main members'. They post a lot and keep the board moving. Using that forum would be the best to plan meets. Having 200 meets in a 120 page thread isn't going to be organized.

thanks for starting the new thread, evilm - you know if there are any calendar capabilities with this forum? just curious...

d3atl... yea, I can see how that would be more efficient - in a better mood tonight, so I'll go check it out again ;)

I got all of my photos from covering the UGA football team at the Capital One Bowl on my blog, from their visits to the parks in Orlando to the game. Check them out and let me know what you think. www.dshireyphoto.com (external link)

This is probably a dumb place to ask, but.... The wife and I just flew to New York today. I heard about the US Airways crash right before I got on the plane. Now I'm in Brooklyn at Hope Street and Union Ave. Does anybody know about if the Airplane crash site is accessible for me to shoot in the morning? And how do I find it from here?

I'm just hoping someone knows something about the area and could help me out. I don't know what forum would be best suited,

The site is in the middle of the Hudson. I am sure there are places you can see it from the shore, but don't think you are getting out to the "site"

No I didn't swim out there. I did go over to the "site." The plane is right at the shore now. Of course, the police, the FBI and the NTSB won't let you get very close. I took picture. I don't have my computer so I will probably not post anything until Tuesday or Wednesday. I was going to try to post something from my daughters computer but I forgot my mini usb cable. I'm going back in the morning to see if I can get pictures of the extraction.
