Roswell/Alpharetta here. I just got my first dSLR camera a month ago (XSi). I'm still trying to learn how to to use it and how to take decent photos (and am looking for a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8).

Tuner Field Auto Crossing...

Is anyone going to attend the Auto Crossing at Tuner Field this Saturday & Sunday?

I'll be there. This is my first time attending so not sure how much reach I will need. I'll have up to 290mm on hand :)

I'm between Savannah and Atlanta with Atlanta being my home for the past 3 1/2 years. Trying to get back to Savannah though. Coffee Bluff to be exact

I think she actually lives in Atlanta. It's not as expensive as NYC! Plus I have two roomates to help with the rent.

I'm still around too. The Atlanta folks have gotten a lot quieter lately.

How's Athens, Dan? Still shooting for the R&B??

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

It was warm and sunny out, so people were probably running around at the park and the like. Rainy this week.

It's about time I posted in this thread - my name is Tim and I am in the Buford/Sugar Hill aread (about a mile off Buford Dam Rd for all of you familiar with the lake area). I am looking forward to getting out more now that the weather is warmer and things are growing again. I am mainly interested in landscapes and nature type stuff, but am up for anything.

Still around... This is what happens when you 1) get bored, 2) need to play with your camera and 3) need better photoshop skills... This is one photo out of about 100 images taken last sunday night mirrored and colorized in PS.

IMAGE: http://www.lowbyte.com/pix/web-SmkVorlon-75.jpg

I'd have some other things creatively I'd like to do to this- but I can't translate it into PS "steps" yet. Just an experiment- there are a few more out of the set I want to play with and make prints out of.
