Nice shot Chill

Thanks! I really do enjoy my 60mm but I can't wait to get other lenses. I am thinking about renting a lens or two to test out soon. This week would have been perfect since I ended up shooting two promotion ceremonies and a Braves event in our drill hall.

aperturent.com has great deals and some really nice lenses for rent. And they are in Atlanta. I would give them a try.

This is who I have been using lately. I had used PPR in downtown, but getting there was such a monumental PITA...and aperturent is closer to home, and easier to get to for me...they will also ship it to you...which I have not done...but I rent from them a good bit.

Good to hear. I will be renting a lens (or two) from them next weekend.

I live 75 miles from there so driving there to rent lenses is a bit of a waste of gas when I can have it shipped cheaper if I rent something way before I need it.

I have it shipped. Usually I get whatever I order a day or 2 before the day I request it which is nice. I get to play around with it and make sure it works properly before I use it. I've rented the 50mm 1.2 L twice from them and loved both copies they sent. They really have outstanding service.

I am going to be shooting a birthday/memorial service for my best friend that passed. But we are going to be outside with a live band and inside sometimes as well.

Sorry to hear of your friends passing Chris. My condolences.

811...you thinking 70-200 2.8...you have the f/4, that should be enough if you add an extender.

I forgot about one shot from the photo walk...last one from downtown...Derrick and I both found it odd how little traffic there was...
