I was about to mention that, but got distracted...YES! I am still up for doing it, if anyone else is. Getting close, so might be time to start really planning it.

The Cumming First United Methodist Festival of Arts is next month, and last night I got my notice that 2 of my 4 submissions were accepted...I think that is a big deal, since the director sent out an email this week that said they had received the most entries ever, and that they would not be able to accept a lot of the entries, and had to be very selective...so 2 out of 4 was good for me...one was not selected, and I was bummed about that...the one of the Carnegie monument downtown from our photowalk...oh well...was happy to get anything accepted, the caliber of work at the event has gotten better every year.

These two were accepted.

Awesome pictures man! Must be some tough judging if your pictures don't make it through.

I plan on being there tomorrow (Saturday) after I meet with a bride. I also have a model who wants to do a shoot there as well. Depends on if she can get a ride there or not I guess.

I wouldn't either. But thankfully Priscilla (my 1911) would be right by my side

Yep, Saturday the 13th. I think that will probably work out good.

Thanks Chris. The competition gets a little tougher every year. Two years ago was my first year for the event, I sold two pieces, one to a patron and one to the Church for their small private collection, the third entry took an Honorable Mention...last year, I had three entries...went 0 fer...so we will see how this year goes.

You know, I need to get off my butt and get my GWL finalized...thanks for the reminder!

Hey Harley! I caught the back side of the jump. Took it to the Senior Gala that year and got it autographed. Knowshon liked it because you could see his name on the back of his jersey. Had an extra 8x10 and left it with him. Great stuff there!

Oh and while we're sharing some great shots of Pan-Starrs, here are two I got while I was down in Tifton.
