Atlanta, Georgia POTN'ers

Well, I went to that Candler Mansion today. There was a Police car parked out front with a patrolan inside. I pulled up to him and asked him if it'd be alright if I could get some photos. He said sure. Just don't go in. And then he didn't move so I could have gotten photos of the front of the place with a police car parked in front of it or not. I chose or not. I will try and get back there again this coming week and see if the coast is clear to do some exploring. Would have been nice if the patrolman said it was OK to go in side.

My wife braved the pouring rain to run the Georgia SPCA Run for the Rescues 5K yesterday in Suwanee. She placed 25th overall and 2nd in her age group. Hopefully later next month I'll be race-ready again and join her in some races.

Here's the start:

Good for her!! My wife was so sick the last half of week. She was supposed to do some training this weekend for her half marathon coming up in April. This will be her first half!
I told her before she got sick, practicing in the rain this weekend would help her prepare, in case it rains that day.
Looks like training will resume next weekend!

Hope she feels better and good luck on the half marathon! I hope to be running my first by Thanksgiving.

Well, last weekend was pretty fun thanks to the Crawfish/Oyster Fest at the Park Tavern. Of course I took my gear just in case lol. Thankfully I did because I got some band shots in!

Hey Harley! I caught the back side of the jump. Took it to the Senior Gala that year and got it autographed. Knowshon liked it because you could see his name on the back of his jersey. Had an extra 8x10 and left it with him. Great stuff there!

I have been freakin slammed with work for two weeks...sucks...Chris, I need to send out a group PM to those interested, I need to finalize some times and see what works for everyone. I will get up there early.
