Oops, should have mentioned. It's supposed to be taken in the evening/as the sun goes down and mostly lit by the campfire, the treeline goes too dark then. Our schools website is down or I could link to an example shot..

Ron, did you go down into the Gorge for those? That was some tough light to work with.

I had forgotten about this shot from Petit LeMans a few weeks ago...something made me think of it this morning...
4 shots, wide with the 24-70L @ 24.

Stopped to take some shots of my new to me ride today on the way home...I really want to do more automotive work, and I figure I can learn on my own car...this one ended up ok after editing.
