I was shooting some geese at a local lake when a mallard joined the party.

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Just about from the hip, too. I saw him out the of the corner of my eye, and swung and shot. The first shot was blurred, just as he was changing from flying to slowing. Luckily I was focused on that group of geese, so I was pre-focused pretty well. You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

You really got him the whole way.. wonderfull. ![]() Thanks CDS. This was my second day of shooting birds in flight, and one of those frames was about frame 250. When spring gets here, I'll be practicing a hell of a lot more, and I'll be trying to beat those gull/quahog shots of yours. You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
