I just wish that the attention was more on the man walking than the gravestones. I think that this would have been possible if the cropping was not as tight on the left. I would have also included the whole building (church?) at the top of the photo by eliminating the negative space to the bottom right of the picture.

Your comments are undoubtedly right but :-
1: I was initially aiming more for the gravestones when this old man walked into frame. I only included him on the spur of the moment.
2: I was trying to exclude a lot of city clutter to the left ... parked cars, the road in front of the 'church', a row of unappealing buildings in the background. I think the same applies to cropping some of the 'church'.
The 'church' is in fact Portsmouth's second cathedral; unusually Portsmouth's first cathedral was the Catholic one rather than a Protestant one.
