My tripod head drag is getting a bit tough when it gets cold outside, any idea if there is some replacement fluid to change the viscosity?

Jan 28, 2007 00:26 | #2 I found another post regarding this issue at birdforum, the poster took their fluid head apart and replaced the sticky grease with something else, so I'll give that a shot. Anyone know what material's the parts inside this head are made out of? I want to get a lubricant that will not effect the parts.

I would strongly suggest that you contact Bogen or Manfrotto to get the correct information before disassembling the head. Skip Douglas
