Tried to give this one a frozen look effect.

I like this idea. I think it's a bit golden for ice though - a bluer tint would suggest the freeze better for me. :)

Have you considered lighting this subject from below with a dark background? I bet it would be gorgeous!

Thanks for suggestions Athena, I just purchased a small digital photo box to do this kind of photography, can't wait to try this with two off camera flashes.
