I am debating on a six or seven million dollar home and need a little advice. This bag will be used to house my XT w/grip, a 70-200 2.8 or a 100-400 (but not both at the same time) and a 85 f/1.8, and a 580EX flash. It's main purpose in life will be to use at highs school sporting events and as just a general walk around bag when I don't want or need to bring my entire kit. I see a 30D w/grip in the near future, so whatever I get needs to handle a larger body. I am leaning toward the six million as I want something as compact as possible, but I am not sure if it will house everything I need it to? I am open to other suggestions too.

Shaun

I've been looking at these two as well Shaun. I'm looking to truck a Rebel XT w/ Grip (possibly 30D w/ no grip in future), 70-200 F/4, 430EX, and either a Tamron 28-75 or 17-40 attached, even both if possible. Sometimes I'd sub my 100 macro for where the 70-200 is. I haven't found the images on cambags to be that helpful. If you do a search I have a recent thread going on this same topic, I want to do the 6MDH but I'm afraid the 7MDH will have to be it.

I own both. They actually look smaller in person than I expected. Here is a link where I and others here bought theirs. I used the promo code given on that page and bought the 7 Million for $101 delivered!!!!!! They are a bit slow, they don't always have it in stock, and the company doesn't communicate all that well via email, but it is the best price I or others here have ever found! Go with the 7 Million, you won't regret it! If you do, at that price, you can eBay it and probably not lose a dime.

Oh, I forgot the link to the $101 7 Million bag, not sure if it is now the same discount, but it probably is!

Use the promo code @SALE and it will show up at the very end of the purchase. The web site isn't the best, you have to navigate for a while to find out if the color you want is really in stock, but it is worth it for the big savings!

I have the 7M and love it. I'd recommend the larger bag. You never know when you'll want to carry everything.

I have the 6 million and I find that with the 30d, tamron 28-75, the canon 70-200f4, and the 430ex I want more rrom. They all fit but it is tight squeeze. If I had the choice again I would go with the 7 million.

I use my 6 Milliuon for lighter need trips and I really like it. Two lens, my flash, camera extra batteries and cards are not a problem.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Yep, I think that is the same deal I got. Maybe one could call them and order an out of stock item. This company seems to get a few every week or so. I'd call them if I still needed one.

mine is becoming a little to small now with my 30D+grip, 16-35, 24-70, 70-200 2.8 non-IS, 580EX, flash battery pack, 2xTC and remotes and the thing will explode, i think a backpack is next after my pelican.

Another vote for the 7MDH....its a quality bag and easy to carry with the shoulder strap. I generally use mine to carry the stuff in my signature, however I often replace the 50mm lens with a 580EX.

The 7 may be better for you, I've the 6 and fit a sigma 10-20, a 20D w/ 35L attached a 70-200, 580, 60mm Macro, but it's stuuuufffffffeeed.

Yeah, with that list of stuff...the 7 will be your best bet.

Its really not that large of a bag, but well organized to hold large lenses.
