I encounter this situation quite frequently to my posted images. Some members can see the posted images of mine while others say they can't. They've tried refreshing to no avail. What's causing this? I seem to get more of this since I started using frames on my images. Should I post the images to less than max size allowed?

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

Mind elaborating what you mean by this?

What he means is you should log on POTN on the url without the prefixed www. (and the members that have trouble seeing the photos should also)

I think the www vs non-www would only affect attachments. Links to external sites shouldn't be checking what your POTN login status is.

I tried troubleshooting one of these lately and found it to be a combination of the way Firefox and smugmug (?) were interacting. See this thread for the details.

SYS, do you have any examples you could point to? As someone who has found himself unable to view images at times, I'd be curious to take a look at your problem, too.

Nevermind -- just looked at a couple of your threads where people were commenting on "can't see it" or "red x" and the images were attachments. In that case the http://pho (external link)... vs http://www.pho (external link)... login is the key.

I thought that was a solution also the (http:// and the www.), but there are still times when I still cannot see pictures after logging into both url's. I still think sometimes that its a conflict with the browser and the posters hosting site. I wait for the day that I can get into a thread and see the photos that everyone else is seeing at that time.
