In a few weeks I will be able to afford around $2000 worht of equipment.:D I have a few options of what to get. I will be doing a few weddings in the summer, that aside I shoot 50% of people, 25 nature/lanscapes and 25% architecture... (aprx)

1) 30D with 17-55 2.8 IS

2) 10-22 with 24-70L

3) 24-70L with17-40L

I personally would buy lot #2 - that said - the 17-55 IS is very popular for weddings but only because most weddings are in dark churches, etc. and IS can be handy....

Although, the 24-70L is sharp! and f/2.8 is still very nice for weddings - and you may have good luck with it... Imagine how many years weddings were shot without IS...

since you are doing weddings i would say two bodies is a good idea. i would say either option 1 or a 30D with a 24-70.

30D and 24-70L, for sure. Great setup.

Or, if you're feeling drastic and only need one body, sell everything in your signature except the 70-200L IS and the 430EX, and get yourself a 24-70L and a 5D. Yeah man. Talk about weddings.

Sounds like a newly hatched plan, I like it!
I still have some time to decide, so I'll see which way it takes me.
