Is the extra money for the suite worth it or can I get by with the Express?

I got the spyder2express and returned it the next day. Produced dark profiles, unlike my eye one from my work. I would spend the extra $$ on the suite.

I got the express version and its done what i needed. my prints look a lot better now.
While im only using cheap monitors at home and work it has given me a more consistent work flow and i can now tell more or less how my prints will come back from the labs.
i dont need it to do any more than that so for me it wasn't worth spending more.

I got a spyder2express 2 weeks ago, had to return it because it was keep giving me the "Unable to detect sensor" error.

Amazon send me another copy, same error; It turns out this is a known issue and they have a new version of the software on their website.

Downloaded the new version, couldn't get it to install on my XP machine; probably due to the older version, wouldn't work even if the old version is uninstalled; but it installed fine on a fresh machine.

So I have been using the Spyder2Express with the error, and have no idea if the device acutally work or not.

Long story short, I would avoid any Colorvision product in the future.

I have the Spider suite for about 6 months now, and I am happy with it. It's not Pro, but it does a well job. I recommend it.
