I switched to Mac 12 months ago and am happy, still use some PC applications but parallels desktop takes care of that

Hey, do you guys like coke or pepsi?

I was a Pepsi drinker for well..most of my life, but I just recently had the chance to play with Coke in Bestbuy and its tab was so much more user friendly and it had a better taste once I got used to it as well, so I bought the Coke and I love it! Coke is also so much nicer in appearance, its shape and form are pretty much work of art and I don't mind paying a bit more for that (Coke is $2, compared to Pepsi's $1.25), even though coke and pepsi use the same caramel 56 coloring and amount of carbonation, coke seems to use it much more efficiently. Still have to deal with Pepsi at work all day, and it goes flat all the time, but replacing the flat with new keeps me in a job so what can you do. ;)

Gosh, I thought this thread was long since dead :)

ASDA diet coke! ;)

was a mac user since 1984 right up til 2002
been a PC user since 1996 up to present day - i wouldn't go back to Apple now, not unless they slashed their hardware prices to match what i can build a kick ass PC for (yeah i know they're on par with a kick ass PC bought from a manufacturer - but i have never needed to buy any workstation from one, its so easy to build your own!)

I may be getting a Macbook pro for mobile editting. I have a pretty bad ass PC but it got outdated so fast :(. Socket 939 FOREVER!!!!

I'll wait until christmas probably to pick up a laptop. Hopefully prices go down enough to where it's super affordable. I'm thinking about dropping $1200 on the new iMacs but from people saying the display isn't too correct wards me off.

Some people love the glossy displays so you might want to take a look in person first. I just went yesterday and couldn't make peace with the reflections.

Pepsi.

fwiw ... PC -- all the way.

I used a Mac G5 Pro in an office I worked at once.
It was okay, didn't really impress me all that much.

Don't see myself ever making that kind of switch... just my personal pref.
