I've always found Bridge to be cumbersome so, while I will upgrade to CS3 it won't be for Bridge. If Adobe has implemented all the things I've been reading about on their forums, Lightroom will be a godsend. I've started to take a look at the videos of v1.0 on NAPP and it is clear that many things have changed for the better. The day it is available, I plan to download the trial version and kick the tires. There's no doubt in my mind that I'll be purchasing it, but why hand over the money before I have to.

ok, that makes sense, thats not where I'm coming from but atleast I understand wehre you are at. There are many RAW programs out there, some free, some require a fee. If all you want is a raw converter, I would look elsewhere then.

I think you're right...
Unfortunately, I haven't found anything that works as nice, or as feature rich as Rawshooter Premium, (or Lightroom.)

I guess on my end of things, I'll be crossing my fingers that ACR will migrate a few things to the Elements side... or that DPP will try to keep up at least a little bit....

My biggest favorite feature has been the vibrance slider in Rawshooter and lightroom... had been able to get some amazing results with a slight tweak of that slider...

Good luck to all you lightroom users though... I am still anxious to hear of your experiences with it... maybe I can be swayed for when 2.0 comes around.

Thanks for passing on any info you might find. Lightroom and a CS3 upgrade should give me more software that I don't understand how to use than I could ever hope for.;) I'll have to try to remember to take some pictures in between learning all the new software!
