What is a decent web site to expose pictures that you want to share with people or eventually try to make a few bucs? I was told Pbase, smugsmug, flickr
but when I go on the forum people are complaining and looking for other sites.

Any first hand experience????

Although it is not a freebie, I like smugmug.com - no complaints from me.

I use Pbase. I needed something to use since I am no computer whiz and found that site very easy to use to set up galleries. You just click a button to create a gallery. Copy all the pictures you want to put in the gallery in a directory on your home computer and make a zip file out of the directory. On Pbase you then click a download/browse button and navigate to select the zip file. Everything is uploaded, including EXIF information attached to the images and picture by picture and slide show viewing of the gallery is available.

The cost is about $24 per year for 400 GB of storage space on Pbase.

I will motion for smugmug.com again. I have a pro account and there are zero limits with it. It has a 14 day trial so you dont have anything to lose.

Cost like $25 to register my domain name (godaddy.com) and then the pro-account for smugmug.com is 150 a year.

Hi, I have been using ephotospace.com for over a year and extremely happy with it. I have the standard account which cost about $20 I think. They gave me unlimited storage space and it doesn’t matter what size of my pictures is. You basically create you own website and upload pictures and videos. Check it out if you want! :)

Give me a buzz if you need help.
