I was looking thru this section n saw how ppl r fascinated by smoke.
I had this picture dat I took of leaves (yup those r purple n green leaves u see)...
was taken when i didnt even know how to use my camera..trust me i'm bad., n i had my shutter stuck at 1/30...didnt know how to change it...
so i'd just change aperture (since i figured dat somehow) n click,
now handshake can do funny things, make leaves look smokey...wut do y'all think guys?

Oh n dats not how i originally composed (or atleast tried to think i was composing something) ..cropped it on some microsoft digital suite 2006...Photoshop is coming soon :P

Nice artzy shot! It reminds me of birds and butterflys. PS could do some amazing things PPing this one, but it's still good as it is.

I could have inverted it, but I would have lost some fine control so I did this...

High Pass Filter Sharpen layer with blending cutoff above and below midtones.

Duplicated layer, inverted it, changed blending mode to luminosity to keep original colors. Adjusted layer transparency.

Hue/Sat Adjustment Layer - Changed original colors anyway.

Color Balance Adjustment Layer to bring more reds into midtones and greens into shadows - this made the background less purple or blue.

Slight curves adjustment layer.

It only took me <2 minutes. PS actions are wonderfu!

If you want the PSD, just PM me your email.
