I love eye shots! And the third image is great, love how you captured the second hands' movements...

I recently turned down the path of macro addiction myself :P

You're probably right, good eye. I have a hard time with my light box getting the WB right, I don't know why. I will select AWB and the other WB settings and none seem right. I will adjust in RSE to my best ability and still can't get it right. Next step will be to change the lightbulbs I am using, they give off a redish hue. I tend to overexpose to avoid the off color casts.

Same watch, same lens in the lightbox and it still seems off (tried adjusting in RSE unsuccessfully);

Don't you shoot in RAW and then just adjust the temperature scale in processing?

Excellent start to macro, I especially like the last shot. That's just as good as Daytona's watch shots (and they're good).
