Very cool. Did you use a tripod in the first shot? The rocks look a little soft so I am thinking it was handheld?

The second shot is neat. Guess you took the plunge eh? Was it cold?

Fell in love with photos.. made lots of money.. fell out of love with photos.. took a long break.. trying to find my love again.

The low angle and positioning of the first shot gives the image a marvellous dynamic effect.

The swirl in the water of the second is mesmerizing.

Great shots, Mark.

I've been planning Dunkeld for years now. :(

i feel that the second shot is phenomenal... the first one is good as well, but the second one really gives you that sense of being there at that serene location.

Very peaceful!

The second one for me Mark, I like the effects of the long exposure on the water.

the first shot was not handheld - needs a bit of sharpening in pp

the second shot i climbed down a banking passed a dead sheep to a lonely rock the size of a house that just comes above the water

thanks for commenting

I like both these shots, the patterns on the water in the second look really interesting - conveys the gentle motion of the water nicely.
