There is something about the first shot that does not quite work however, IMO anyway. Seems too OOF or too much effect or something? I get the concept and really love it though. Maybe if the ring was in great focus it would have worked better? Not sure. But I really LOVE them all!! Great stuff!!

The ring isn't the focal point of the picture. The first your eyes goes to is the out of focus faces. I think you needed to be closer to to ring. Maybe the hands higher looking down on the faces.
