I have tried looking through the threads but there is too much info to digest so I wonder if somebody could help me please.

I already have a backpack for my equipment which I am happy with but I doing lots of show photos and after walking round all day with my camera round my neck and my backpack on my back I can hardlt move!

What I would like to do is get a holster style bag that would hold just what I need for the day and would mean I can happily carry the empty bag as well as my camera.

I would most likely be wanting to carry the following:

EOS 400D with battery grip and 28-135 IS Lens (Or similar) attached and hood
550EX Flash
Spare Batteries for flash and battery grip.
Memory Card wallet

Many thanks in advance.

PS I am in the UK if anybody suggests shops.

My day-to-day bag is a Billingham Hadley Pro (with extra AVEA pouch and shoulder pad). It easily takes a 350D with Sigma 17-70, Sigma 10-22, Canon 75-300 USM III, Sigma 600 Mirror, 2x converter, hoods for all lenses except 600mm, spare batts, cards, notebook, London A-Z, remote control, tiny tripod, Stofen Omni Bounce and a Speedlite 580EX (in the pouch).

If I want to travel light I take a Crumpler Ben's Pizza XL which will take the 350D plus 17-70, spare battery, card, remote and at a push the 580EX.

Many thanks for the replies.

I actually dropped into my local photographic shop on the way home from work to get some better ideas and came out with a second hand Lowepro Off Road for £9.

I am very happy!
