sconibeer Hatchling 1 post Joined Mar 2004 More info | Mar 10, 2004 15:17 | #1 Surely there must be somebody out there with the ability to manufacture a plug that will fit the canon n3 type remote shutter socket as on EOS-10D etc. I am sure there must be many of us that have our own remote shutter release switches, all we need is a plug to fit on the end. As it stands, so far as I am aware, I have to purchase a canon remote lead, or a canon n3 adaptor at some rediculous price (£40+ in the UK). HAs anybody got any ideas, or am I the only person in this situation.

CyberDyneSystems Admin (type T-2000)  More info | Mar 10, 2004 15:39 | #2 There was a guy who made one using some sort of plastic.. you are correct in assuming the electrical contacts are straight forward.. it is the physical shape..... and no.. there is no supply for them. Canon has made a proprietary plug specifically so that we will be forced to by there new RS80 etc... GEAR LIST
