Excellent shot...

the ground in the lower right is a little dark and distracting, but if you cropped it, you'd lose part of the bridge or the sky on the top left, am i right?

And, how in the world did you get to change your name under your username from member to "Tartan abuser"... i'm jealous!

Very nice :)

It's mostly shot from the other way though :)

Technical perfection is only ever important if it improves the asthetic. It is not the precursor to beauty. Not in art..not in music and not in photography!

Nice shot, looks like you had better weather than I did when I passed by on the way to Skye last October. My shots from that visit are more the dark and threatening kind!

It certainly is an iconic castle Mark. I find your shot a little grainy. Was this deliberate processing?

I can also see where the source of the "abandon hope" resurrection occurred too.

A nice shot MWS3 but it is looking pretty grainy on closer inspection. Was this shot's exposure bumped up a couple of steps in the foreground to compensate for the backlighting?

"Scotlands most photographed castle"

I can see why, lovely shot Mark but I agree with the rest about the graininess. Would love to see it again if you re-process it.
