Rhode Island is a small state and yet this year seems to be a year that tragedy brings us to the national headlines again and again.

Again the news strikes home and it is indeed close... Although I had only met him a few times,.. I have known his brother Channing for years. I have seen him a few times during this period of wondering and waiting. Needless to say the family has been torn by the prolonged disapearance,.. perhaps now at least there can be some sense of closure.

We will miss his humor,. his insight and his edginess

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend's brother. It's tough when such a tragedy hits close to home. Definately a reminder of what's really important.

David

He was a real talent. Such losses are so hard to understand. My condolences to you and to his family.

Tom
