Looks like some welded joint on some metal work, but as I said, as a stand alone image, it does not mean much, but could work in a collection of similar images... i think both could also be sharper. are they hand held?

Reason; you can make a colour photo to mono very easily on a PC, but it is VERY tough to make a mono photo into a colour photo. Who knows what you will do with the photos in the future. If you start using the B/W or sepia modes in the camera, you may regret it in the future when you want a full colour image from the same shot... Of course, you do what you want, no one is stopping you, it was just some advise that I think is quite logical...
