Was going for the look she gives when we go hunting, 'there's a rabbit, can I get it? can I? CAN I?'.

Lens is 50mm 1.8 for anyone interested. Criticism welcome :)

A Springer Spaniel, I bet she runs you ragged and always rolls in the muddy puddles just because she can. Very much the nutty one of the gundogs breeds.

A nice dog portrait, however the muzzle/nose is OOF whereas the ear and eye are sharp. I would have liked to see the eye and muzzle as the sharpest areas. A DoF issue only so if you can get her to stand still for long enough next time use a slightly smaller aperture?

A little PPIng would not go amiss IMHO it is just a tad flat on the contrast and would benfit from some sharpening.

HTH :)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Thanks :)

OOF muzzle was intentional, we'll have to agree to disagree on that :)

Given your other reccomendations a try, better or too much/too little?

The eye of the beholder and all that ;)

I took a run at it, what do you think?

In the end PPing IMHO has one purpose - to improve an image in the way that suits what you wish to 'see' in a picture.

Oh I see the file name says "charlie" if that is her name that is spooky because the other Springer that I knew (a dog) was called Charlie !
