Ok, so I know many knew it would not be long before I added to my collection, again. However, my buying plan for the coming year is now complete with my recent 50 1.2L. Think all my needs are covered for the time being. :)

Where do you stand with the 50L back-focusing issue and the calibration of your camera body?

Refresh my memory. You sold the 50L and you've reacquired another?

I was banking on you taking a little more time than this but once an L-coholic...

:)

sold the BF-ing 1dsmk2 after getting it fixed by canon and bought a new 1dsmk2. It was the body that had the issues not the lens. I sold my first copy of the lens because I thought 1 lens would be enough. Cant live with out a dedicated 50mm in my bag. The L is just superb!

How is the restaurant going? Isnt that what you sold much of your gear for to help with cash for the business?

Well that, plus 85L 135L 35L 300 2.8L 1dmk2N 4x550 on and on. Restaurant is well, think we might have a second location already pegged. :)

I'm willing to bet you won't make it through the year without buying more glass. ;)

The 50L is just the beginning. It's like a guy who just got out of rehab. He's clean and sober for a while, but then gets a quick whiff of that fix. Yep.

Once an Lcoholic always and Lcoholic. Your days are numbered. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I agree with you for most folks....but for me, I've purchased my last L lens already...and I have no plans to buy another one this year, nor ever unless I have to replaced a broken/dropped lens...that would be painful

Gear is essential, but often has little to do with composition, pictures, and art...Alfred Steiglitz

Canon 5D, Canon 1D Mark II, All L primes from 14mm through 200mm. All L zooms from 16mm through 400mm. 2.0x TC
